As someone who is AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD), I bring both professional knowledge and personal experience to my practice. My mission is to provide a safe, understanding space where you can explore your unique experiences and challenges, fostering an environment of authenticity and self-discovery. I believe that trauma and neurodivergence can go hand in hand and it’s important to be able to recognise them as you experience them so that you can spot the triggers and find the coping mechanisms that are the best for you.

Working with Shame
I have worked at a women’s charity in Wakefield which was dedicated to keeping women and girls out of the justice system by helping them with their self-esteem and confidence. The counselling I provided was part of that process and was extremely rewarding whilst also being an excellent way to gain experience of complex mental health issues such as EUPD, complex PTSD and OCD. Very often extreme trauma was at the root of their issues and the reason they had found themselves in the justice system. They hadn’t had much experience of safety and trust and I provided a safe, confidential space for them whether they wanted to talk or just be with the silence and stillness.
I have also worked with an online low-cost counselling company where I was counselling clients from around the UK of all ages and backgrounds with a wide variety of issues and goals.
Both placements have added to my experience of working with neurodivergence whether it is curiosity on the part of the client or late diagnosis that the client wishes to explore and come to terms with.
